Watch Black Panther 2 Trailer which is also denoted as Wakanda Forever.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is an upcoming American superhero film by Marvel Studios based on the Marvel Comics character Black Panther.

The movie is being produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is worth to note that the new movie “Black Panther 2” was intended to be the sequel to Black Panther that was released back in year 2018 and the 30th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

However, the movie is being directed by Ryan Coogler, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Joe Robert Cole, and the long awaited movie stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Dominique Thorne, Florence Kasumba, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, and Angela Bassett among others.

Synopsis: The leaders of Wakanda fight to protect their nation in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

Meanwhile, the ideas for a sequel began after the release of the first sequel titled as Black Panther in February 2018. The director, Coogler negotiated to return in the following months and the the company “Marvel Studios” officially confirmed the sequel’s development in mid-2019.

After star Chadwick Boseman died from colon cancer in August 28, 2020, plans for the film was changed in August 2020 with Marvel choosing not to recast his role as T’Challa. Other main cast members from the first movie were confirmed to return and the title was announced in May 2021.

Therefore, production took place initially from late June to early November 2021, in Atlanta and Brunswick, Georgia, as well as around Massachusetts, before a hiatus to allow one of the cast Letitia Wright who was having injury to recover from an injury she sustained while the filming was going on. It was later confirmed that the production resumed back by mid-January 2022 and wrapped in late March in Puerto Rico.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 11, 2022 which is like a month from now, as the film is in its Phase Four of the MCU.

Marvel Studios finally released the official trailer after a long waiting for the sequel “Black Panther: #WakandaForever.”

The sequel which is a 2020 blockbuster “Black Panther” film tells the story of the Wakanda People in a world following the death of their beloved king T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) of blessed memory.

As mentioned previously, Boseman‘s character was not recast, rather the new film we are in anticipation for is considered to be a tribute to his legacy of the actor.

In the first teaser of the film, the words “The King lives and the Pantherforever in us…” are painted in Wakandan on a mural of their king; T’Challa in Wakanda.

This picture looks to be part of a segment from the teaser that also includes Wakandans dancing and performing music while wearing white ceremonial clothing.

The new trailer also includes fighting scenes as a new Black Panther is unveiled.
